Reflecting on Gratitude: What I'm Thankful for this Thanksgiving

family at Thanksgiving dinner

Hello Brothers,

Truthfully this post was slightly challenging to write. Our family has been so blessed, and I have so much to be thankful for in this life, but it's been a particularly difficult week in our household.

Our middle daughter has had a sudden onset of health problems this last week that have included multiple emergency room visits, ultrasounds, x-rays, blood draws, etc. And we still don't have much of an answer to what's going on.

But despite the change in our family dynamic, I still feel so grateful for so many things. And I have faith that my daughter will improve.

More than anything, with all the negativity we're surrounded with on a daily basis, it's important to focus on the positives and put everything in perspective. So here is my list of some of the things I'm thankful for this year. I hope you'll share yours as well.

Faith and Guidance: My faith has been the bedrock of my life, providing solace and direction. It's in moments of prayer that I find my strength and my compass, reminding me of what truly matters. Our church, Flatirons Community Church, continues to guide our family and provide hope.

A Decade with My Better Half: Ten years with my wife have been a journey of love, support, and shared dreams. Her resilience and grace, especially in parenting our children, is something that fills me with pride and gratitude every day. She's our rock.

The joy of Fatherhood: The laughter and love that fills our home is largely thanks to my three beautiful daughters. Each one is a unique blessing, and welcoming our newest addition this October has been a joy beyond words.

The Gift of Family: My extended family has been a pillar of support and wisdom. They've shaped my life in countless ways, and our gatherings are a treasure trove of shared stories and warmth. We're so thankful to have a majority of our family so close by.

The Pursuit of Passion: Leading MENxNATURE is more than a business endeavor; it's a pursuit of passion. Connecting with others who share a love for the outdoors and personal growth has been an incredibly fulfilling journey.

Our Nation and Its Protectors: While our country may not be perfect, I believe it's the best there is. I'm deeply thankful for the freedom and opportunities it provides. This gratitude extends to the brave men and women of our armed forces, whose sacrifices ensure our safety and uphold our way of life.

This Thanksgiving, as I count my blessings, I am reminded of the richness of life and the many forms of love and support that surround me.

Please share what you're thankful for below.

Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving filled with gratitude and joy.
